Elena & Rafael
A coastal elopement against dramatic white cliffs on a black pebble beach. Just two people, an enormous landscape, and a dress that caught every bit of wind.

When the Landscape Does Everything
There are locations where you set up the shot and locations where the location sets it up for you. This beach was entirely the second kind. The white cliff face rising forty feet behind them, the dark pebble shore, the way the two of them looked completely small and completely sure of themselves at the same time, I just had to stay out of the way.
Elena's dress caught the coastal wind from the moment she stepped onto the beach and never stopped moving. Noah held her close and they stood there in front of that wall of rock like they'd always known this was exactly where they were supposed to be.
The sea cliffs along the Southern California coast are some of the most dramatic elopement backdrops I work in. The scale of the rock formations against two people creates a quality of image that no manicured venue can come close to. If you want something that feels genuinely elemental and wild, this is the kind of location I'd build your day around.
