Claire & Marcus
A barefoot beach elopement in Baja California. All white, all quiet, and a stretch of sand that felt like it existed just for them.

Nothing But Sand, Water, and Each Other
Claire and Marcus had one requirement for their elopement: they wanted to be somewhere that felt completely empty. No crowds, no noise, no other people in the frame. Playa Balandra in Los Cabos gave them exactly that. A wide arc of white sand, water so calm it looked like glass, and mountains rising from the desert behind them.
They both wore white. No shoes. They walked down to the water holding hands and never looked back at the camera and that was the whole session. Sometimes the best thing a photographer can do is stay quiet and let two people be together.
Los Cabos is one of the most beautiful destination elopement locations accessible from Los Angeles, just a two hour flight and a world away from everything. The combination of desert mountains, calm turquoise water, and endless white sand produces images with a simplicity and clarity that's almost impossible to find on the California coast. If you want to feel genuinely far away, this is where I'd send you.
